The Neighborhood Bistro’s culinary program will be the program for our meeting.

BIO – JEFF PRATT, GOODWILL HEAD CHEF AND INSTURCTOR

Chef Jeff Pratt is currently the Culinary Skills Program Manager at Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region in Tacoma, WA and head chef at the student-run Goodwill Neighborhood Bistro.  Chef earned his culinary degree in Renton, WA and has over 25 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. He has a broad range of unique culinary experiences from chef and innkeeper at a waterfront country inn, where he was named Innkeeper of the Year for Kitsap County, to chef at an upscale neighborhood restaurant.  He’s also served as a food & beverage director at a Las Vegas golf club and corporate chef for a regional retirement housing provider.

Jeff has also been very active in the community serving as chairman of the culinary arts advisory committee at Renton Technical College.  He is an active member of the American Culinary Federation where he serves as Treasurer of the local chapter and Chair of the Culinary Apprenticeship committee.  Chef was named Washington State Chef’s Association Chef of the Year for 2013 and has received the Presidents Medal for Service to the Community three times. Chef Jeff describes his style of cuisine as international, preferring to prepare dishes consisting of flavors from around the globe.
